A comprehensive analysis of the competitive swimming landscape at both regional and statewide levels empowered the Town of Derry to make informed decisions regarding the potential capacity of a future aquatic center in terms of hosting competitive events. A thorough financial analysis of competitive swimming events was also completed, encompassing revenue projections and facility utilization.
The result is a sprawling 90,000-square-foot community center that boasts an impressive array of amenities, including an indoor 25-yard competition pool, an indoor leisure pool, an outdoor leisure pool and an outdoor sprayground. The facility also houses a senior center, a teen center, a full-sized gymnasium, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a collection of versatile multipurpose meeting and program rooms.
