Ohio State is offering fans a pricey, indoor tailgate experience for the Buckeyes' upcoming College Football Playoff game against Tennessee.
According to The Columbus Dispatch, fans can pay $1,000 to attend a tailgate in the Ohio State Recruit Room inside Ohio Stadium starting at 5 p.m. Saturday. OSU athletic director Ross Bjork will be present, as will Cardale Jones, Brutus Buckeye, the OSU Cheer Team, the OSU Dance Team and more, according to the event listing.
Prior to kickoff fans will then head down through the Players Tunnel with their exclusive pre-game sideline passes. The schools says participating fans will receive a souvenir sideline credential.
The price of the tailgate experience does not include a game ticket.
Eleven Warriors reported this week that Tennessee fans have been gobbling up tickets for the away game.
Tennessee fans were guaranteed 3,500 tickets for the contest. However, after Ohio State's presale code leaked online, Tennessee fans scooped up more than their allotment. Tennessee president Randy Boyd said Ohio State president Ted Carter thinks the Horseshoe could be 30 percent orange, which converts to about 30,834 tickets.
