Nashville residents who aspire to work on construction of the Tennessee Titan's new stadium can take advantage of a construction training camp that aims to find local people to work on this important local project.

The Titans Construction Training Camp, which was made possible by a partnership with the Tennessee Builders Alliance, aims to help those who are looking to break into the construction industry. The program includes a three-week job training and pre-apprenticeship program that will help prepare participants for a career in construction.

Participants are paid for taking the classes and are guaranteed a job interview with a trade partner working on the stadium and will earn two industry credentials.

According to News Channel 5, they'll also get some tool if they finish the program.

The official groundbreaking on the new Nissan Stadium happened on Feb. 29th.

The $2 billion stadium is being paid for in 3 parts: The Titans paying about a third, and the taxpayer is taking care of the rest through state and Metro bonds. The project is expected to be finished in 2027.
